Melvin Robinson was a four-year starter for the Lions from 2008-2011, finishing his career as the most prolific hitter in program history. Robinson finished his career as the Lions' all-time leader in ten different offensive categories, including batting average (.373); home runs (16); runs batted in (85) and hits (128). He is listed among Lincoln's all-time top five performers in 21 different offensive categories. As a junior in 2010, Robinson hit .414 and set the school record for hits in a season with 36. Melvin hit .400 the following year and broke his own school record with 38 hits, earning All-CIAA and all-ECAC honors. He holds seven single season records in addition to his ten career marks.  Â
