Lincoln’s most decorated track and field athlete, Young earned 22 All-America honors while competing at Lincoln.  Young was a member of the Lions' 2005 outdoor and 2007 indoor national championship teams. During his senior year, Young became just the second division III track athlete to win three consecutive 400-meter dash titles at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a stadium record, school record and NCAA season best time of 46.75.  He also earned all-American Status as part of LU’s 4 x 100 meter relay team.
 
During his four years at Lincoln, Young earned All-American honors in the 200, 400, 4 x 100, 4 x 200 and 4 x 400 in both indoor and outdoor venues.   He was named the 2006 Most Outstanding Male Athlete following the NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships while earning All-American status in both the 400-meter and 4 x 400 meter relay events.
 
Young is also a member of the school record 4 x 400 meter outdoor team and holds the schools record for the 400 meter dash, both indoor and outdoor as well as the outdoor 200 meter dash mark. 
 
He was a member of Track Phi Track while at Lincoln.  Young also competed as a member of the Liberian National Team and served as the Lions assistant track coach from 2008-2010.
 
He is currently a behavioral health assistant in Jacksonville, Florida and an operations technician for Bridge of America.
