Hall of Fame Inductees
Dr. Tehma Hallie Smith, who is a member of the Pennsylvania State Bar, Maryland State Bar, Washington, D.C., State Bar and National Bar Association, holds the record for the most points scored by a freshman basketball female with 431. She also holds the women’s basketball school record for points scored with 1,552. Smith, is a very active alumnae and supporter of Lincoln University athletics. She organizes and sponsors the annual alumni basketball game as well as is a board member of the Lion’s Pride Club. While at Lincoln, Tehma also played volleyball and was on the women’s track & field team. Smith, who was honored with the Leader and Legend Alumni Award at Lincoln University in 2007, was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at St. Paul’s School for Girls in 2012. Her jersey was retired at Lincoln in 2001 and was a Founder’s Day Honoree in 2002. Smith, who was a Legacy Club Donor at Lincoln in 2007, worked with the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Hall of Fame legend Mr. Harvey Pollack and assisted him with keeping the leagues’ statistics. Smith is a 2000 Lincoln University graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
