Ashley Parker was the first student-athlete from a Historically Black College or University to be named a finalist for the NCAA Woman of the Year. Parker captained the 2006-2007 women’s track & field team and was a member of the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field 4x400 National Championship Team. Parker was a top three finisher at the 2006 Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the 4x100 and 4x400. A six-time All-American, Parker earned second and third-place finishes in the 400-meter run and 55-meter dash at the Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships in 2007. Prior to attending Lincoln University she attended the NCAA Senior Woman Administrators/Athletic Directors Conference in 2004-2005.  Parker was a member of the National Society for Negro Women and she was honored by the Philadelphia Sports Writers Association. Parker, a health science major, graduated from Lincoln University in 2007.
