The Lions battled the number one ranked team in Division II and held their own until the 7^th inning. The game started slowly for the Lions as they could only produce one hit by Julian Bradshaw (Brooklyn, NY/Brooklyn Generation HS) in the 3^rd inning which resulted in him scoring. They quickly fell behind 1-3 but were able to score once in the 4^th twice in the 5^th and again in the 6^th. A that point the Lions were competing against the best and making them work for their 7-5 lead. Other members of the team who contributed were Latuan Boggerty (Dover, DE/Polytech HS), Aidan Gomes (Bronx, NY/LaSalle Academy) and Dumarius Gooch (Milton, DE/Cape Henlopen HS).

Millersville then took over in the 7^th and never looked back. Millersville scored 14 runs in the 7^th and 4 in the 8^th and 9 more in the 9^th. The final score of the game was Lincoln 6 Millersville 34.

The Lions next face CIAA rival Winston Salem State University April 23 -24 at Lincoln Field. Game times for both dates are 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
