Baseball Drops Doubleheader to Goldey-Beacom

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PAMarch 25, 2026 - The Lincoln University (PA) baseball team dropped both games of a doubleheader against Goldey-Beacom on Wednesday afternoon.

Game 1 – Goldey-Beacom 23, Lincoln (PA) 3

Lincoln found early momentum in Game 1, responding in the third inning as Marcellus Brown (Washington, DC/Riverdale Baptist) and Sean Stoney (Rosedale, NY/Archbishop Molloy HS) each delivered RBI singles to tie the game at 2-2.

Goldey-Beacom quickly shifted control in the fourth inning, scoring six runs before adding to their lead in the fifth. The Lightning broke the game open in the sixth with an 11-run inning to pull away.

The Lions added their final run in the fifth inning when Jaden Greenidge (Richmond, Va./Monacan) launched a solo home run to left field.

Brown and Stoney each recorded RBIs, while Greenidge provided the lone extra-base hit for Lincoln.

Game 2 – Goldey-Beacom 13, Lincoln (PA) 3

In Game 2, Goldey-Beacom once again capitalized on big innings, scoring four runs through the first three innings before erupting for five runs in the fifth and four more in the sixth.

Lincoln broke through in the fifth inning when Chris Howard (Bronx, NY) singled to right field, bringing home a run. The Lions added two more in the sixth inning, highlighted by a triple from Kenneth Gaskins III, followed by a sacrifice fly from Antonio Bruno (Browns Mills, NJ).

Gaskins led the offense with two hits and an RBI, while Marc Harrison Jr (Upper Marlboro, MD/Flowers HS). and Aaron Graves II (Upper Marlboro, MD/Riverdale Baptist) each contributed hits in the effort.
