LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – April 2, 2026 – The Lincoln University (PA) baseball team fell to Post University, 1-11 and 6-8, in a CACC doubleheader on Thursday.
Game 1 – Post 11, Lincoln (PA) 1
Post used a steady offensive attack to defeat Lincoln 11-1 in game one.
The Eagles scored in each of the first three innings to take a 3-0 lead before the Lions got on the board in the second, capitalizing on a wild pitch to cut the deficit to 3-1.
Post broke the game open late, plating four runs in both the sixth and seventh innings to pull away.
Keith Gardner (Franklinton, NC/South Granville HS) recorded Lincoln's lone hit and scored the team's only run, while the Lions drew six walks but were unable to generate additional offense.
Game 2 – Post 8, Lincoln (PA) 6
Lincoln responded with a strong start in game two but fell 8-6 after a late comeback by Post.
The Lions erupted for four runs in the first inning, highlighted by RBI hits from Isaiah Tinsley-Cobbs, Aaron Graves II (Upper Marlboro, MD/Riverdale Baptist), and Billy Bowen (Cincinnati, OH). Lincoln added two more runs in the second inning to extend its lead to 6-1.
Post chipped away with two runs in the third before taking control in the sixth inning with four runs to regain the lead. The Eagles added an insurance run in the seventh to secure the win.
Solomon Devard (Bear, Del./MOT Charter) and Kenneth Gaskins each scored twice, while Frederick Perry (Houston, TX) added two hits and an RBI. Tinsley-Cobbs, Graves II, and Bowen each drove in runs in the loss.
