Box Score The Lincoln University men's basketball team placed three players in double figures but it was the offense from host Shippensburg University that caught fire late in the game as the Raiders rallied to defeat the Lions 79-69 in the final game of the Wolf Bus Lines Classic at Heiges Gymnasium in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania Sunday evening.

The Lions fall to 1-1 with the loss while the Raiders improve to 2-0.

Zahrion Blue (Princeton, N.J./Princeton) led the Lions with 14 points and 12 rebounds, recording his first collegiate double-double.Â
Deaquan Williams (Camden, N.J./Camden) added 14 points and nine rebounds while
Cameron Campbell (Fayetteville, N.C./Trinity Christian) chipped in 12.

Williams and Campbell were named to the All-Tournament Team after the conclusion of the game.

Antonio Kellum led Shippensburg with 21 points while John Castello notched a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Jake Biss had 13 points and a game high six assists and Lamar Talley added 11 points.

Nine lead changes highlighted the first half with the last two coming in the final three minutes. Campbell's basket at the 2:31 mark put the Lions up by one 28-27. Talley followed with a three-pointer to start an 8-0 Raider run, giving the hosts at 35-28 lead at the half.

The Raiders maintained their lead for the first 11 minutes of the second half, leading by as many as nine. Shippensburg was still up by eight 48-40 when the Lions began to surge, going on a 17-4 run to retake the lead. Williams had nine of the 17 points including two traditional three-point plays, the first of which started the rally at the 14:01 mark and the seconds of which put the Lions ahead at 53-52 at the 8:46 mark. Blue and Terrence Gibbons added baskets to push the lead to five 57-52 at the 7:55 mark.

Castello's three-ball cut the Lions lead to two and triggered a string of seven consecutive field goals by the Raiders as they used a 19-4 uprising to take a 73-63 lead with 1:48 left. Lincoln's offense went cold during the run, which spanned just over five minutes, making just two field goals in ten attempts. Shippensburg made six of seven free throws in the final minute to seal the ten-point win.

Lincoln made one more overall field goal than Shippensburg but the Raiders outscored the Lions 33-21 from beyond the arc and doubled up the Lions 16-8 on the free throw line. The Raiders held a 43-36 rebounding edge and turned in a solid assist/turnover ratio of 18/13 (LU 8/10).
