Lincoln Men’s Basketball Falls in Overtime Thriller to Bowie State University, 86–83

BOWIE, Md. — The Lincoln University (PA) men's basketball team battled through a tightly contested matchup Saturday afternoon but came up just short in overtime, falling 86–83 on the road to Bowie State in CIAA action at A.C. Jordan Arena.

Lincoln (9-19, 4-12 CIAA) showed resilience throughout, forcing extra time after a competitive regulation that featured multiple lead changes and four ties. The Lions outscored Bowie State in second-chance points (27–9) and matched the Bulldogs' shooting efficiency from the field at 44.4%, keeping the game within reach until the final seconds.

Bridges Jr. Leads Offensive Charge

Ronald Bridges Jr. (Durham, NC) delivered a standout performance, pouring in a game-high 33 points on 10-of-16 shooting, including 5-of-8 from three-point range and 8-of-11 at the free-throw line. He added five rebounds and two assists in 42 minutes of action.

Amadou Fall (Bronx, NY) contributed a strong interior effort with 15 points, seven rebounds, and four blocks, while Jordan Sanders (Atlanta, GA) added nine points and three steals. Ginuwine Tropnas (Montreal, QC) controlled the glass with a team-high nine rebounds.

Game Flow

Lincoln held a narrow 39–36 lead at halftime behind efficient perimeter shooting (50% from three). The Bulldogs responded in the second half, matching the Lions bucket for bucket and tying the game at 72–72 at the end of regulation.

In overtime, Bowie State capitalized at the free-throw line, going 12-of-14 in the extra period to secure the win despite Lincoln's late push.
