LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. — Feb. 14, 2026 — Lincoln University men's basketball battled down the stretch Saturday afternoon at Manuel Rivero Hall, but came up short in a 73-67 decision to Bluefield State.
After trailing 31-26 at the break, the Lions matched Bluefield State with 41 second-half points, repeatedly trimming the margin and keeping the contest within one or two possessions late.
Ronald Bridges Jr. (Durham, NC) delivered a standout performance, pouring in 34 points on 10-of-17 shooting while knocking down four threes and going 10-of-12 at the line. Bridges' scoring kept Lincoln within striking distance throughout the final minutes.
Lincoln also got strong interior play from Amadou Fall (Bronx, NY), who posted 13 points, seven rebounds, and four blocks, while Ginuwine Tropnas (Montreal, QC) added 12 points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals. The Lions finished with seven blocks as a team and generated key second-chance opportunities to stay in the game.
Bluefield State was led by Myles Pierre with 25 points, while Ellija Preddy added 12 points and Warren Mouganda contributed 12 points and seven rebounds.
