FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Lincoln University bowling team closed out its season on Sunday afternoon in the CIAA North & South Divisional III Meet by winning two matches at Lafayette Bowling Lanes.
Lincoln, which concluded the season with a 21-65, its best record since the 2009-2010 season when it went 18-62, opened the day during Baker Matches with a 626-595 win overall Bowie State and picked up a 518-495 victory over Chowan. The Lady Lions lost matches to Virginia State, 671-553; Virginia Union, 610-551; and Elizabeth City State, 727-515.
