FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Lincoln University bowling team opened the North & South Divisional III meet by going 1-4 during Friday's play at Lafayette Bowling Lanes.
 
The Lady Lions began the day with a loss to Elizabeth City State, but bounced back with a 742-580 victory over Chowan. Lincoln closed out the day with losses to Virginia State, Virginia Union and Bowie State.
 
Sarah Danaher (Waitsfield, Vt./Harwood Union HS) paced Lincoln by averaging 157 pins, while Chantel Hamilton (Philadelphia, Pa./Norristown Area HS) is knocking down 150.8 pins per a match.
 
The Lady Lions return to action 12:30 p.m., Saturday, March 16 at Lafayette Bowling Lanes during the second day of the North & South Divisional III Meet.
