FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Lincoln University bowling team resumed play on Saturday at the CIAA North & South Divisional III meet as the Lady Lions topped Chowan, but went 1-4 on the day at Lafayette Bowling Lanes on Saturday.
Lincoln began the day with a 784-684 loss to Virginia State, but bounced back with a thrilling 644-636 victory over Chowan. The Lady Lions fell to Elizabeth City State, 932-752 and Bowie State, 853-737, before ending the day with an 880-841 loss to Virginia Union.
Chantel Hamilton (Philadelphia, Pa./Norristown Area HS) paced Lincoln through 10 matches by averaging 163.50 per match.
Sarah Danaher (Waitsfield, Vt./Harwood Union HS) is averaging 161.60 per match and
Tamia Davis (Pittsburgh, Pa./City Charter HS) is 144.80 per match.
The Lady Lions conclude action 9:30 a.m., Sunday, March 17 in the CIAA North & South Divisional III Meet at the Lafayette Bowling Lanes.
