Box Score Lincoln University, PA – The Lions rallied from a ten-point deficit with under three minutes remaining to force overtime, then defeated Wilmington University, 81-79.
After shooting 37% from the field in the first half, the Lions regrouped for a 48% field goal percentage in the second half.

The Lions also attacked the Wildcats defense getting to the free-throw line 15 times. Lincoln made 12 second half free-throws led by
George Jackson (Baltimore, MD/Digital Harbor HS)'s five made and
Derrick Washington (Washington, DC/Coolidge SHS)'s three made.
Trailing 63-53 with 2:58 left in the game, the Lions roared back and sparked a 16-6 run to tie the game and push overtime. Washington made several key baskets while
Justin Jackson (Baltimore, MD/Digital Harbor HS) gave the Lions a 67-66 lead with 11 seconds left.
George Jackson (Baltimore, MD/Digital Harbor HS) picked up the defensive intensity forcing back-to-back Wilmington turnovers with nine seconds left in the game. But a miracle shot from half court by Wilmington's Rashaun Rasheed sent the game into overtime at 69-69.
In overtime, Lincoln held Wilmington to 25% shooting on 2-8 attempts from the field.

Three Lions reached double-figure scoring led by Derrick 19 points and three assists, while
George Jackson (Baltimore, MD/Digital Harbor HS) and
Justin Jackson (Baltimore, MD/Digital Harbor HS) both added 14 points.
Chris Kinney (Washington, DC/Theodore Roosevelt SHS) recorded 13 rebounds and added nine points.

The Lincoln University jumps to 3-1 after their come from behind win over Wilmington. The Lions will host Mansfield University on Tuesday, November 26 at 7 p.m. in Manuel Rivero Hall.
