Box Score

WEST CHESTER, Pa. –
In the afternoon's second game of the 25th Annual Carol Eckman Classic, the Lady Lions of Lincoln University fell to the host Lady Rams of West Chester University, 83-40.

DeJuana Mosley (Chester, PA/Chester) led the Lady Lions with 11 points. She also added five rebounds and a steal. Mosley had the Lady Lions only 3-pointer on the day as they combined to go 1 for 10 from behind the arc.

Since being inserted into the starting lineup, sophomore combo guard Tahlar McIntosh (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mt. Alvernia HS) has given the starting unit a spark, and on Saturday she continued by scoring the Lady Lions' first six points. She had eight rebounds alone in the first half. She finished the game with nine points and nine rebounds as she had to leave in the second half with a cut to her head. If not for the injury, we are sure she would have finished with her first-career double-double for the game.

The Lady Lions' Achilles heel for the season continues to be their turnovers. For the first half alone, they had 16 turnovers. They finished the game with 31 turnovers.

Sharay DuBose (Salisbury, Md./Parkside HS) has an uncharacteristic poor shooting game as she went 1 for 10 from the field. She finished with four points, seven rebounds, two steals and an assist.

This was the first game all season that DuBose did not score double figures for the Lady Lions.

The Lady Rams were lead in points by Allison Hostetter with 16 points.

On the road to 1,000 points, DuBose and Mosley brought their totals to896 and 856, respectively.

The Lady Lions will be right back in action on Sunday as the play in day two of the tournament. They will be pitted against Millersville University as the game starts at 1 p.m.
