BOWIE, Md. – The Lincoln University (PA) women's basketball team fell 90–44 on the road to Bowie State on Feb. 21 at A.C. Jordan Arena in CIAA action.
Lincoln was led by Serenity Burgess (Coatesville, PA) and Kaziah Akinniyi (Baltimore, Md./Poly), who each scored seven points, while T'Nyah Riggins (Allentown, PA/Executive Education Academy Charter) added eight off the bench. Ja'Laiyah Smith (Bayonne, NJ) contributed seven rebounds and five points, and Hunter Conway (Detroit, MI/Belleville HS) pulled down six boards. The Lions battled on the glass with 31 total rebounds and earned 22 bench points, but Bowie State used a strong first quarter and 46.6% shooting to build separation.
