PETERSBURG, Va. —
Lincoln was led by Sharay DuBose (Salisbury, MD, Parkside) 22 points while DeJuana Mosley (Chester, PA, Chester) pulled down 11 rebounds as Virginia State defeated the Lady Lions, 80-60, in Daniel Gym in Ettrick, Va.

VSU, ranked third in the Atlantic Region of the NCAA, hit 30 of 60 shots for the game and out-rebounded Lincoln 39-32.

Virginia State University's Rhon'Neisha Taylor scored a team-high 19 points while three other Lady Trojans scored in double-figures.

Taylor hit 8 of 10 shots from the field while Tierney Rock scored 16 points, Angela Brown scored 12 points and Morgan McGill scored 10 points for the Lady Trojans in the win.

VSU's Leslie Phillips led the Lady Trojans with six rebounds.

The win lifted VSU's record to 13-4 while Lincoln fell to 2-16.
