BOWIE, MD (November 16, 2008) – The Lincoln University men's basketball team ended its appearance in the Bulldogs Classic with a 103-84 lost to Pfeiffer in the consolation game Sunday afternoon. (BOXSCORE)
Junior guard and health science major Bryant Leach (Philadelphia, PA/Bartram) finished with a double-double scoring 32 points and grabbing 19 rebounds. Freshman guard and business management major Darren Clark (Largo, MD/Largo) finished with 26 points, eight rebounds and four assist. Junior guard and health science major Darrell Mosley (Chester, PA/Chester) also scored double digits finishing with 11 points. Leach also finished with three steals. Junior guard Damian Hyman (Brooklyn, NY/Harry S. Truman) added nine points for the Lions.
The only tie in the game was with 17minutes and 25 seconds left in the first half after Clark scored a lay up to make the game 7-7. Lincoln took the lead 9-7 off a layout from sophomore computer science major Kristin Joyner (Brooklyn, Y/Thomas Jefferson). Lincoln kept the lead for their next four points before Pfeiffer took back the lead for the remainder of the game.
Lincoln will resume action when they travel to Saint Paul's College on Tuesday November 18 at 7:30 p.m.
