LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – The Lincoln University (Pa.) men's and women's cross country programs are prepared to begin their 2026 campaigns with a schedule designed to challenge the Lions throughout the fall and prepare them for championship competition.

Lincoln opens the season Friday, Sept. 11, at the Delaware State University Stinger Invitational in Smyrna, Delaware. The meet will provide the Lions with their first opportunity to establish a competitive rhythm and evaluate their progress following preseason training.

The men's roster features Phillip Burney, Kelvin Coley (Brooklyn, NY), Brandon Beh Goh Beh (Cameroon, Africa), Thomas Jones (Washington, DC), Lamine Kane (Baltimore, MD) and Nasir Scott (Trenton, NJ). Lincoln's women's team includes Amani Adams (Ft. Lauderdale, FL), Daleeah Alexander (Chester, PA), Eternity Bellamy (Harrisburg, PA), Leannah Jordan (Montclair, NJ), Dayshana Kellogg (Detroit, MI), Miranda McLean, Madison Morgan (Piscataway, NJ), Christine Perkins (Landsdowne, Pa./Prendie & Bonner) and Isabella Wright (Bear, DE).

Following the season opener, the Lions will travel to Princess Anne, Maryland, for the UMES Invitational on Sept. 19. Lincoln will then have two weeks to prepare for the Virginia State HBCU Challenge, scheduled for Oct. 3 in Petersburg, Virginia.

The Lions will remain in the region for the Golden Ram Invitational on Oct. 10 in West Chester, Pennsylvania. That meet will serve as another important test as Lincoln begins its final preparations for championship season.

Lincoln will get an opportunity to compete on its home course Oct. 15 when the Lions host the Lincoln University Championship Tune-Up. The meet will give both programs a final competitive opportunity before postseason competition.

The 2026 schedule concludes with a championship-focused stretch. The NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships are listed for Oct. 21 in Kernersville, North Carolina, followed by the CIAA Cross Country Championships on Oct. 22 at Green Hill Park in Virginia.

With a combination of regional invitationals, HBCU competition and a home meet, Lincoln enters the season focused on steady improvement and producing its best performances during the championship portion of the schedule.

Friday's meet will mark the first of several regular-season tests for Lincoln as the Lions begin preparing for the 2026 CIAA Cross Country Championships.

Following the DSU Stinger Invitational, Lincoln will return to competition Saturday, Sept. 19, at the UMES Invitational in Princess Anne, Maryland. The meet is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
