SALEM, Va. – October 23, 2025 – The Lincoln University (PA) men's and women's cross country teams wrapped up their 2025 seasons with determined performances at the CIAA Cross Country Championships, held Thursday at Green Hill Park in Salem, Virginia. Both squads showcased growth, resilience, and depth across the championship course.
Men's 8K Recap
The Lions' men's team battled through a deep field to finish ninth overall in the 8,000-meter race.
Sophomore Thomas Jones (Washington, DC) Jr. once again led the way for Lincoln, clocking 30:07.1 to place 25th overall, continuing his breakout season as the team's top finisher for the majority of the fall.
Sophomore Lamine Kane (Baltimore, MD) followed in 38th place (32:23.7), while senior Brandon Beh Go Beh closed his Lincoln cross country career with a 46th-place finish at 33:54.7.
Junior Adam Green (34:47.3) and sophomore Kelvin Coley (Brooklyn, NY) (35:03.7) rounded out the team's top five scorers, with senior Nasir Scott (Trenton, NJ) finishing in 69th.
The men displayed steady improvement throughout the year under Head Coach Latifa Raheem, highlighted by multiple top-10 individual finishes in regular-season meets and consistent pack running that carried into conference play.
Women's 5K Recap
The Lincoln women's team capped off an impressive campaign with a fourth-place team finish, marking one of the program's strongest CIAA Championship performances in recent years.
Sophomore Madison Morgan (Piscataway, NJ) set the pace for the Lions, finishing 20th overall with a time of 22:02.2. Freshman Dayshana Kellogg (Detroit, MI) wasn't far behind, placing 21st (22:18.9) as part of a strong 1–2 punch up front.
Junior Miranda McLean (25th, 22:43.9) and sophomore Isabella Wright (Bear, DE) (36th, 23:35.1) provided key scoring efforts, while junior Christine Perkins (Landsdowne, Pa./Prendie & Bonner) (38th, 23:44.7) and senior Amani Adams (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) (43rd, 24:27.0) rounded out Lincoln's lineup.
Freshman Eternity Bellamy (Harrisburg, PA) also crossed the line at 27:44.8, closing a promising first collegiate season.
Lincoln's fourth-place team result (136 points) placed them ahead of Virginia State, Shaw, and Claflin, underscoring the squad's growth and competitiveness in the CIAA.
