LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – April 6, 2026 – The Lincoln University (PA) baseball team earned a thrilling 8-7 walk-off victory over Dominican (N.Y.) on Monday afternoon.
Lincoln struck early with two runs in the second inning, highlighted by an RBI double from Marc Harrison Jr (Upper Marlboro, MD/Flowers HS). and a sacrifice fly from Quentin Smith (Pg County, MD). After Dominican tied the game, the Lions regained the lead in the fourth on an RBI double from Aaron Graves II (Upper Marlboro, MD/Riverdale Baptist).
The Lions broke things open in the fifth inning, scoring four runs behind RBI doubles from Jaden Greenidge (Richmond, Va./Monacan) and Solomon Devard (Bear, Del./MOT Charter), along with a run scoring on a wild pitch to take a 7-2 advantage.
Dominican battled back, scoring five runs across the sixth, seventh, and eighth innings to tie the game at 7-7 heading into the ninth.
In the bottom of the ninth, Frederick Perry (Houston, TX) delivered the game-winning moment, launching a walk-off home run to secure the victory for the Lions.
Lincoln totaled 14 hits on the day, led by Jaden Greenidge (Richmond, Va./Monacan) who went 3-for-5 with an RBI, while Marcellus Brown (Washington, DC/Riverdale Baptist) added three hits. Devard drove in two runs, and Graves II finished with two hits and an RBI.
On the mound, DeVaughn Earl-Hayden (Pittsburgh, PA) earned the win in relief, allowing just one run over the final 2.1 innings.
