Lincoln University, PA – March 19, 2026 – The Lincoln University (PA) baseball team fell to Felician University, 11-1, on Thursday afternoon at the LU Baseball Complex.
The Lions (5-9) struck first in the opening inning as Solomon Devard (Bear, Del./MOT Charter) reached base and later came around to score on an RBI single from Jaden Greenidge (Richmond, Va./Monacan), giving Lincoln an early 1-0 advantage.
Felician responded in the third inning, capitalizing on an error before a three-run home run shifted momentum and gave the visitors a 5-1 lead. The Golden Falcons continued to build on their advantage with a two-run home run in the fourth inning and added runs in the sixth, seventh, and eighth innings to secure the victory.
Lincoln finished with nine hits on the day, with Sean Stoney (Rosedale, NY/Archbishop Molloy HS) leading the way with two hits. Devard, Greenidge, Isaiah Tinsley-Cobbs, and Darryl Husband (Mechanicsville, VA) each contributed hits as the Lions consistently put runners on base but were unable to string together scoring opportunities.
On the mound, Frederick Perry (Houston, TX) got the start and tossed a scoreless opening inning before Pedro Santos (Trenton, N.J./Trenton Catholic) and Darryl Husband (Mechanicsville, VA) combined in relief. Isaiah Negron (Merion Station, PA/Lower Merion HS) took the loss, pitching four innings.
Despite the setback, Lincoln showed early offensive promise and continued to generate opportunities at the plate throughout the game.
The Lions will look to bounce back as they continue their home schedule in the coming days.
