The Lions earned a 5-0 shutout in Game 1 before grinding out a 1-0 victory in Game 2 to move to 2-0 on the young season.

Game 1: Lincoln 5, Morehouse 0

Lincoln set the tone early and never looked back in the opener.

Isaiah Tinsley-Cobbs sparked the offense in the second inning with an RBI double to score Jaden Green. The Lions added two more runs in the third when Greenidge delivered a two-RBI single through the left side, extending the lead to 3-0.

Game 2: Lincoln 1, Morehouse 0

The nightcap turned into a pitcher's duel, with Lincoln once again relying on dominant mound work.

The only run of the game came in the sixth inning when Marcellus Brown (Washington, DC/Riverdale Baptist) singled down the third-base line to drive in Jaden Greenidge (Richmond, Va./Monacan), breaking the scoreless tie.

Jaden Greenidge (Richmond, Va./Monacan) was outstanding on the mound in Game 2, earning the win with a complete-game shutout. He allowed just four hits, did not issue a walk, and struck out 10 batters in seven innings of work.
