Mill Spring, NC. – February 16, 2026 – The Lincoln University (PA) women's track & field team produced a competitive and promising showing at the CIAA Indoor Track & Field Championships on February 15–16, highlighted by a relay podium finish, scoring performances, and several marks that rank among top HBCU and Division II performances.
The Lions' top highlight came in the Distance Medley Relay, where the quartet of Dayshana Kellogg (Detroit, MI), Patience Talley, Aaliyah Whitfield, and Miranda McLean placed third overall in 13:35.91 to earn six team points and post one of the program's strongest relay marks of the season.
Individually, sophomore Gabrielle Lanier contributed points in the high jump with an eighth-place finish (1.48m) and also competed in the triple jump. Distance runner Miranda McLean delivered a strong performance in the 3000m, finishing tenth with a season-best time of 12:29.18 that ranks among top HBCU marks.
