PETERSBURG, VA – May 1 - 2, 2026 – The Lincoln University (PA) women's track and field team competed at the CIAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, turning in solid performances across both track and field events.
Freshman Dayshana Kellogg (Detroit, MI) led the way on the track, scoring points in the 400 meters with a seventh-place finish in the finals after running a strong preliminary time of 57.60.
In the relay events, the Lions posted a fifth-place finish in the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:57.79, adding valuable points to the team total.
Lincoln also saw contributions in the middle-distance events, with Madison Morgan (Piscataway, NJ/Piscataway Township) competing in both the 800 and 1500 meters, while Eternity Bellamy (Harrisburg, PA) added a performance in the 800. In the distance events, Miranda McLean represented the Lions in the 5000 meters.
In the hurdles, Amani Adams (Pembroke Pines, Fla./Flanagan) competed in the 400-meter hurdles, continuing Lincoln's presence across multiple track disciplines.
In the field events, Gabrielle Lanier led the way with a sixth-place finish in the triple jump, recording a mark of 11.34 meters to earn points. She also competed in the high jump, clearing 1.50 meters.
Darriel Whiting (Montclair, NJ) added a performance in the 100-meter preliminaries, contributing to the Lions' overall showing.
Lincoln's performances highlighted continued development and depth across the roster as the Lions competed against top competition in the conference.
The Lions will look to build on these efforts as the season continues.
