Lincoln (PA) Posts Strong Performances at Colonial Relays

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - April 2-4, 2026 - The Lincoln University (PA) men's and women's track & field teams competed this weekend at the Colonial Relays, hosted by William & Mary, turning in several strong performances against a competitive field.

Men's Highlights

The Lions were led by their relay teams, highlighted by a second-place finish in the 4x400 relay. The quartet of Sahfi Reed, Devin James (Detroit, MI), Asad Reese (Philadelphia,PA/Imhotep), and Carlo Johnson (Wyndmoor, PA) posted an NCAA Division II qualifying time of 3:11.96, marking one of the top performances of the meet for Lincoln.

Lincoln also claimed a victory in the 4x200 relay, as Sahfi Reed, Carlo Johnson (Wyndmoor, PA), Asad Reese (Philadelphia,PA/Imhotep), and Devin James (Detroit, MI) combined for a first-place finish with a time of 1:25.97.

In the sprint medley relay, the group of Zion Spotwood (Chester, PA/Chester), Malachi Williams (Washington, DC/Coolidge HS), Lamine Kane (Baltimore, MD/Woodlawn HS), and Thomas Jones (Washington, DC) finished fourth overall with a time of 3:34.75.

Individually, Terry McNeil placed fourth in the invitational section of the 110-meter hurdles, clocking a time of 15.28, while freshman Sayeed Buie () added an eighth-place finish in the same event at 15.52.

On the track, Nasir Scott (Levittown, Pa./Harriet Tubman) led Lincoln in the 400 meters with a time of 50.15, while Thomas Jones (Washington, DC) paced the middle-distance group in the 800 meters, finishing in 1:56.75.

In the field events, Adam Green (Pottstown, PA/Pottstown) cleared 1.89 meters (6'2.25") in the high jump to place seventh, while Tehuti Conover () recorded a mark of 6.67 meters (21'10.75") in the long jump.

Women's Highlights

On the women's side, freshman Dayshana Kellogg (Detroit, MI) led the Lions with a strong showing in the 400 meters, placing sixth overall with a time of 57.68.

Kellogg also contributed to Lincoln's 4x400 relay team, which placed seventh overall with a time of 3:55.09 alongside Darriel Whiting (Montclair, NJ), Sabianka Alexis (Brooklyn,NY/New Visions Charter HS for Advanced Math and Science), and Paris Talley (Philadelphia,PA/West Catholic HS).

In the sprints, Darriel Whiting (Montclair, NJ) led Lincoln in the 100 meters, finishing 12th with a time of 12.51, while Alexis followed closely behind.

Amani Adams (Pembroke Pines, Fla./Flanagan) added an eighth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles, crossing in 16.09.

In the field events, Gabrielle Lanier led the Lions in the triple jump with a mark of 10.60 meters (34'9.5"), while Lailah Durrell (Coatesville, PA/Coatesville Area High School) competed in the long jump.
