LAKEWOOD, N.J. – October 8, 2025 – The Lincoln University (PA) women's soccer team showed toughness on the road Wednesday afternoon, falling 5–0 to Georgian Court University in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play.
Goalkeeper Nevaeh Washington (Philadelphia, PA) delivered another standout performance for the Lions, recording 13 saves across both halves — her fourth straight match with double-digit stops. She faced 32 total shots from the Lions of Georgian Court, holding the home side to just two goals in the final 45 minutes.
Offensively, Lincoln generated five shots on goal, with Briana Poullard (Elkton, MD) leading the way with two and Ricyonna Walker (Kingston, Jamaica), Sahida Dumbuya (Freetown, Sierra Leone), and Justyce King (Menifee, CA) each adding one. The Lions also earned a pair of second-half corner kicks and limited Georgian Court to two goals after halftime, showing progress in their defensive organization.
The Lions (0-8-1, 0-6-0 CACC) return home to Lincoln University, Pa., on Saturday, October 11, to host Felician University at noon in another CACC matchup.
