LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – October 11, 2025 – The Lincoln University (PA) women's soccer team struck for a second-half goal and showed poise throughout a physical contest, ultimately falling 4-1 to Felician University on Saturday afternoon.
Freshman Shealyn Oakes (Waldorf, MD) delivered a milestone moment for the Lions, scoring her first career goal in the 60th minute off a clean assist from Justyce King (Menifee, CA). The strike capped a strong build-up from midfield that energized the home crowd and marked Lincoln's second goal in the last three matches.
Goalkeeper Nevaeh Washington (Philadelphia, PA) finished with four saves, including three in the second half to limit additional damage. Defensively, Jenesis Kitchen (Baltimore, MD), Briana Poullard (Elkton, MD), and Ricyonna Walker (Kingston, Jamaica) each logged key minutes in the back line, helping Lincoln steady the match after playing a man down for most of the afternoon following an early red card.
The Lions (0-9-1 overall, 0-7-0 CACC) will look to build on their attacking rhythm when they travel to face the College of Staten Island on Wednesday, October 15, with kickoff set for 3 p.m. in Staten Island, N.Y.
