Lincoln University, PA – January 12, 2025 – The Lincoln University (PA) basketball teams are set to clash with longtime rival Bowie State University in the highly anticipated Battle of the North at Bobby Morgan Arena on the campus of Saint Joseph University. The doubleheader will begin with the women's game at 2 p.m., followed by the men's game at 4 p.m. on January 18th, 2025.

The Lincoln women's basketball team holds a slight advantage in the series, leading 16-14 all-time. The Lions won their last meeting with Bowie State in a convincing 64-54 victory and will aim to repeat that success in this critical CIAA matchup.

On the men's side, the Lions trail in the series 10-23, but they'll be seeking redemption after a narrow 73-75 loss in their previous contest with Bowie State. With Lincoln riding strong performances this season, they'll look to turn the tide in this rivalry game.
