Lincoln University, PA- September 21, 2024 - The Lincoln University (PA) women's volleyball team lost to Lock Haven University in three sets, the team ended up losing with set scores of :17-25,12-25,21-25.
 
Neither team had control of the game in the first set as the score went back and forth through the first 13 points, Lock Haven was able to go on a seven-point streak during the set which would be the deciding factor. The Lions played aggressively behind freshman Elise Carter (), but the team was unable to topple the Bald Eagles in the final two sets.
 
Carter played with intensity all night as she was able to put together 10 kills, leading the team in that category, Charley Manley ended the match with three kills while Laila Newborn (Ardmore, Pa./Lower Merion) had two kills.
 
On defense Carter led the team in blocks with three.
 
The Lincoln University (PA) women's volleyball team will be heading to Bluefield, WV for their next game as they will have a conference game against Bluefield State University starting at 6 p.m. September 26.
