Lincoln University, PA - October 12, 2024 - The Lincoln University (PA) football team proved to be too much for the Sir Blues of Bluefield State University.

The Lions were on top the entire game during the team's homecoming game which featured many alumni and family. The crowd settled into the game where the Lions finished with a final score of 37-13.

The Lions also renamed the campus football and track field after Lincoln Legends Dr. Frank "Tick" Coleman and Coach Cyrus Jones during halftime which marked a historical moment in the school's history.

On defense the Lions were led by
Maleek Robinson () in tackles as the Junior finished with eight total tackles and six solo tackles,
Ronald Thomas III (Englewood, N.J./Englewood High School) was right behind Robinson as he had six total tackles and two pass breakups on the day while also having five solo tackles.

The Lions QB
Isaiah Freeman (Chester, Pa./STEM Academy High School) led the way for the team on offense as he finished the game with 154 passing yards and 3 touchdowns on 13 attempts.
Dah'mear Triplett (Elkton, Md./Elkton High School) played a huge role in the game today as well as he is now the current leader in touchdowns for Lincoln University following today's game, having scored for the Lions during the second half of the game.

The run game was equally impressive for the Lions as
Amir Gerald (Washington, D.C./Woodrow Wilson High School) rushed for 35 yards with one touchdown and
Zyaire Tart (Camden, N.J./Middletown High School) rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown as well.
