Lincoln University, PA - October 19, 2024 - The Lincoln University (PA) football team were unable to topple the Panthers of Virginia Union as the game ended with a final score of 12-63.
 
The Lions started the game slowly in the beginning as the team was unable to score through the first two quarters, it was not until the third quarter when the Lions were able to score off a touchdown pass from quarterback Isaiah Freeman (Chester, Pa./STEM Academy High School).
 
On defense the Lions were led by David Chase (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin High School) in tackles (10) with Jessiah Gildersleeve () behind him with 5 total tackles. Chase was also able to get one interception during today's contest.
 
The Lions QB Isaiah Freeman (Chester, Pa./STEM Academy High School) had two touchdowns today while throwing for 84 yards, it was Dah'mear Triplett (Elkton, Md./Elkton High School) and Zyaire Tart (Camden, N.J./Middletown High School) who were able to score for the Lions off well placed passes from Freeman.
 
The Lincoln University (PA.) football team will be on the road for their next game as they face Elizabeth City State University starting at 1:00 p.m. October 26,2024 in Elizabeth City, NC.
