On Saturday, August 5, 2023, the HBCU Allstar Dream Classic will be held at historic Rucker Park in Harlem, New York. The event will host Men's and Women's All Star basketball games featuring recently graduated players from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), who are now eligible for NBA, WNBA, ABA, Big 3, European and other Professional league opportunities. 

Lincoln alum, Kania Pollock (Queens, N.Y./The Mary Louis Academy) and Korey Williams (Brooklyn, N.Y./LaSalle Academy) were selected to play in the event. 

Pollock said "I'm grateful to be chosen for this opportunity in my home state! I love playing at Rucker Park and the atmosphere is amazing. I don't get the chance to play at home during the school year, so I'm definitely looking forward to it."

Of his selection to the event, Williams said, "It was definitely an honor to be selected in the my second HBCU Allstar game. Playing with all the top guys from all around and show our talents on a big platform is something I'll never forget." Williams also was selected for the HBCU All Star Game held in conjunction with the Men's Final Four back in April.
