Lincoln University baseball coach Anthony Pla has announced the addition of 12 student-athletes for the upcoming season.

The student-athletes represent six different states – Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, Connecticut and New Jersey.

Solomon is a big bodied outfielder that produces loud contact from gap to gap.  His ability to play solid defense and hit at a high level provides instant impact into our outfield group.  We are excited to add a player like Solomon into our 2022 class and know that he will make an immediate impact on our roster.

David is a starting pitcher who won the city championship with his high school team this year.  He is a strike thrower who is also a great athlete and will add depth to the starting rotation this year. This is a great addition to our staff.

CHESTERFIELD, VA | MONACAN

Jaden has big pop with gap to gap potential at the plate and an elite arm.  His ability to play multiple positions on the infield at a high level and provide some depth to our bullpen shows some real potential as an impact player.  We are excited to sign a player with as much talent as Jaden and he will make an immediate impact on our roster.

Jalen has good bat to ball skills and has some real gap to gap ability.  He is a plus defender on defense with the ability to play outfield, on the infield and can even catch.  We are excited to have the chance to welcome Jalen and know that he will make and immediate impact on our roster.

Andre is a versatile player who is an excellent receiver with a very accurate arm.  His ability to drive the ball from gap to gap and work with pitching staff are very important.  We are excited to add a player with Andre's skill set and see bright future for him in our program.

Justin has a ton of upside as a pitcher and shows some pop at the plate.  His compact swing delivers line drives and he has a strong arm.  We are excited to welcome Justin into our program and look forward to seeing his development.

Gio became the Connecticut State leader in stolen bases in his senior year with his ability to read pitchers and get great jumps.  Along with a solid bat from the left side and his tracking ability in the outfield, Gio will be a welcomed addition to our outfield core.

Spencer has the ability to make an immediate impact in our bullpen.  He can add depth to our back end of games.  With a full fall season, he has the potential to develop as a quality arm for us.  Looking forward to what he brings to the table.

Jalen has an imposing frame and possesses a ton of upside on the mound.  As he develops, Jaden has the potential to be an impact arm for us and be an integral piece for us moving forward.  We are excited to welcome Jaden into the family and look for big things in his future.

 Pedro is a great teammate and has been developing into a leverage arm from the left side.  As he grows and develops, he gives US a real weapon on the mound. He should make an impact for us very early in his collegiate career.  We are excited to add a player with Pedro's skill to our recruiting class.

Darrion is a tremendous athlete who can cover a lot of ground in the outfield.  He is also able to come in and throw strikes on the mound as well adding much needed depth to the staff. This dynamic player will be exciting to watch in the next few years.
