PHILADELPHIA, PA – April 28, 2026 – The Lincoln University (PA) baseball team closed out the regular season with a 7-5 loss to Holy Family in CACC play.
Lincoln came out strong offensively, scoring three runs in the first two innings to take early control. The Lions added two more runs in the seventh to stay within striking distance, finishing with eight hits on the day.
Jaden Greenidge (Richmond, Va./Monacan) led the way offensively with two hits, including a triple, and two RBIs. Keith Gardner (Franklinton, NC/South Granville HS) added a strong performance at the plate with two hits and an RBI, while Solomon Devard (Bear, Del./MOT Charter) and Jalen Greenidge (Richmond, Va./Monacan) each contributed a hit and an RBI.
On the mound, Fredrick Perry delivered a solid start, allowing just two runs over four innings while working around early traffic.
Lincoln held the lead through the early innings before a late inning surge shifted momentum. Despite the setback, the Lions showed continued fight at the plate and consistency offensively throughout the game.

Lincoln now turns its focus to postseason play, traveling to Ettrick, Virginia for the CIAA Baseball Championships. The Lions will open tournament play against Bluefield State on Tuesday, May 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Whaley Colbert Field.
