Bryanna Brown (New York, N.Y./Bishop Loughlin) award file continues to grow as adds another first to her resume.

Brown was named the Central Intercollegiate Scholar-Athlete of the Year, becoming the first Lincoln University student-athlete to earn the recognition from the conference. The CIAA Scholar-Athletes of the Year are voted on by associations throughout the conference's membership including the athletic directors, senior woman administrators, sports information directors, and faculty athletic representatives.

Bryanna Brown (New York, N.Y./Bishop Loughlin) being named CIAA Scholar-Athlete of the Year is a culmination of her body of work while at Lincoln University," said Lincoln University women's basketball coach
Janice Washington. "She is a stellar student and fantastic basketball player, whose faith is rooted firmly. She has worked to achieve every award that she has received, and we look forward to watching her continued success as she begins her journey into the realm of professional athletes."

A standout on the hardwood, Brown recently graduated with a degree in finance with a cumulative 3.95 grade point average.Â

Her list of on-court accolades is just as impressive as her off-the-court laurels. Brown was named the CIAA Player of the Year after leading the Lions to the program's first CIAA championship. Brown led the CIAA in scoring with 17 points per game. The All-CIAA backcourt selection, she added to her trophy case with the CIAA Tournament MVP honoree.

Brown is the first Lincoln University student-athlete to earn CoSIDA Academic All-American honors, while also being recognized as an Arthur Ashe, Jr. Sports Scholar, finishing as the first runner-up for their Scholar of the Year award.Â

She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and was actively involved in community service during her time at LU to include food and clothing drives, voting initiatives, and campus cleanups.
