Azcona was 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, two stolen bases, and a career-high three RBI. Hines finished 2-for-4 with two runs scored.

Guadalupe singled home Hines in the bottom of the third inning, then stole second and third base, before scoring on a throwing error.

Staten Island took the lead with four runs in the second inning with only one ball – a bases-loaded triple – leaving the infield. The Dolphins added a pair of insurance runs in the sixth inning.
