SHOOTING OUT THE LIGHTS(EY)

In the two official contests, the sharpshooter is tallying 22.5 points on 60 percent shooting (15-of-25). He is shooting 9-of-14 (64.3 percent) from three-point range.

SUPER SUB
Junior Ja'Zere Noel (Woodbury, N.J./Woodbury) has played extremely well off the bench for the Lions. After recording a 20-point, 10-rebound double-double in the opener, the Jefferson College transfer added 23 points in 22 minutes in the win over Bluefield State. On the season, Noel is averaging 21.5 points and 6.5 rebounds.
His 26 minutes per game are third on the team behind junior Korey Williams (Brooklyn, N.Y./LaSalle Academy) (31.0) and junior Bernard Lightsey (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep Charter) (26.5).

SPECIAL K
Junior college transfer Korey Williams (Brooklyn, N.Y./LaSalle Academy) is proving to be a great addition to the program. A JUCO All-American from Hostos C.C., Williams is third on the team with 21.0 points with 7.0 rebounds, and a team-high nine assists. He is currently 14-of-14 from the free throw line.

THE ONLY
Lincoln University is the only CIAA team playing non-conference hoops this season. The CIAA slate will begin on January 9.

FREE THROWS
Through a pair of games, the Lions have made almost as many free throws as their opponents have shot. Lincoln has made 53 (53-of-70), while their opponents have attempted 54 (43-of-54).

ABOUT SALEM: The Tigers (2-1) took Division I Delaware to the wire in their last game, falling to the Blue Hens, 79-76, in an exhibition game.
