Fans Can Take Advantage of a Limited Time 50 Percent Discount on Weeklong Tournament Ticket Books Through October 11

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (October 9, 2026) — The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA®) announced today that tickets are officially on sale for the 2027 CIAA Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament, scheduled for February 23 through February 27, 2027, at CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. As excitement builds for another unforgettable championship experience, fans are encouraged to secure their seats early and be part of one of the most anticipated traditions in collegiate athletics.

To celebrate the start of ticket sales, the CIAA is offering a limited time 50 percent discount on weeklong tournament ticket books from October 9 through October 11, 2026. During the promotional period, fans can purchase a weeklong ticket book for just $140, regularly priced at $280, representing a savings of $140.

To access the special offer, fans must use the promotional passcode 1912CIAA when purchasing their tickets.

Under the theme "The Legacy Continues," the 2027 tournament will bring together the conference's 12 member institutions for five days of championship basketball, spirited rivalries, school pride and a celebration of the history and traditions that have defined the CIAA for more than a century.

"The CIAA Basketball Tournament represents so much more than what happens on the court. It is a celebration of our student athletes, our institutions, our alumni and the communities that continue to support this conference year after year," said CIAA Commissioner Jacqie McWilliams Parker. "We are excited to officially open ticket sales and provide our fans with an opportunity to experience the tournament at a special price. Baltimore has become an important part of our championship tradition, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back as the legacy continues."

The 2027 tournament will mark the 81st CIAA Men's Basketball Championship and the 52nd CIAA Women's Basketball Championship, continuing a historic tradition of athletic excellence, cultural celebration and community engagement.

Beyond the competition, the CIAA Basketball Tournament offers fans a weeklong experience that extends beyond the court, bringing together generations of alumni, supporters, families and basketball enthusiasts for entertainment, fellowship and celebrations of HBCU culture.

Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets early and take advantage of the limited time promotional offer before it expires on Sunday, October 11, 2026, OR SUPPLIES LAST.
