LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – Lincoln University (PA) women's basketball head coach
Paul Davis and men's basketball head coach
Julius Hodge will join student-athletes
Serenity Burgess (Coatesville, PA) and
Julius Olanrewaju (Coalinga, CA) at the 2026 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Basketball Media Day, scheduled for October 5–6 in Baltimore, Maryland.
Burgess will represent the women's basketball program alongside Davis, while Olanrewaju will represent the men's program with Hodge. The Lincoln delegation will join coaches and student-athletes from across the conference for two days of programming highlighting CIAA basketball ahead of the 2026–27 season.
This year's theme,
"Back to Business: This Court Is in Session," features a courtroom-inspired setting that invites participants to make their case, share their teams' stories and discuss expectations for the upcoming season.
Activities begin Monday, October 5, at the Royal Sonesta Harborplace. Student-athletes will participate in professional development programming, photography, videography and content creation sessions. Coaches will attend their respective basketball association meetings, conflict management sessions and rules updates.
The official Media Day circuit will take place Tuesday, October 6, at the Under Armor Campus in Baltimore, beginning at 10 a.m. Coaches and student-athletes will participate in interviews and promotional activities, providing an opportunity to spotlight their programs as preparations continue for the season.
For Burgess and Olanrewaju, the event offers an opportunity to represent Lincoln beyond the court, connect with fellow CIAA student-athletes and help introduce the Lions to a conference-wide audience.
Lincoln's participation will place both basketball programs in the spotlight as Davis, Hodge, Burgess and Olanrewaju share the Lions' outlook for the 2026–27 campaign.
