The Lions fell to 7-9 overall and 1-4 in Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association games and have suited up just nine players in each of the past two games due to multiple injuries.

Murray Earns Newcomer of the Week Honors
Kwanza Murray (Summerville, S.C./Summerville (Lackawanna College)) (Summerville, S.C./Summerville (Lackawanna College)) was named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women's Basketball Newcomer of the Week for her performance during the Lions two games last week.
Murray scored a total of 43 points in the Lions' two games last week, leading the team to wins over Wilmington University and Shepherd University. She recorded her first double-double of the season vs. Shepherd with 26 points and ten rebounds.
Lions Notch 100
Against Wilmington University on New Year's Eve, the Lions scored 100 points for the first time in program history, defeating the Wildcats 100-65. In recording a 100-point game, the team eclipses their previous high mark of 96 points, achieved twice, most recently against Wilmington in November 2015 and first reached against Christendom College during the 2000-01 season.
An Impressive Debut- Part II
Kwanza Murray (Summerville, S.C./Summerville (Lackawanna College)) (Summerville, S.C./Summerville (Lackawanna College)) was impressive in her Lincoln women's basketball debut on Saturday against Winston-Salem State, breaking the school record for three point field goals in a game and scoring 24 points. Murray connected on six three point shots (in eight attempts) to break the school record of five held by four different players and last equaled by teammate
DeeDee Irwin (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville Area) (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville Area) last season. The junior transfer from Lackawanna College finished the game with 24 points (9-16 FG) and added seven rebounds and one assist to lead the Lions.

Deja Reynolds (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep Charter (Temple)) (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep Charter (Temple)) and
Shakira earned Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women's Basketball weekly award honors for their performances during the week ending December 9, 2018.
Edwards was named the CIAA Rookie of the Week while Reynolds was named the CIAA Newcomer of the Week. This week's honors are the second for both players with Reynold's earning Newcomer of the Week honors back on November 21 and Edwards garnering Rookie of the Week honors a week earlier.
Scouting the Falcons
The Falcons are 2-11 overall and 1-6 in CIAA contests. Saint Augustine's has lost seven straight games dating back to December 8, 2018 when they defeated Claflin University 55-51.
Angela Carabello leads the Falcons, averaging 10.6 points per game. She also leads the team with 22 steals and is shooting a team-best 34.8% (16-46) from three point range.
Kamya Renwicks is second on the team with an 8.5 points per game scoring average. Her 32 assists are tops on the squad.

Shankia Clark continued her impressive play, producing her second consecutive double-double (13 points, 11 rebounds) for the Lady Falcons. She led a Lady Falcons' effort that throttled the Bulldogs in the first half.
