Jordan Camper (Chester, Pa./Chester) leads the team shooting 81.8% from the free throw line (27-33) and has a team-high 11 blocks on the season.
Last Time Out
The Lincoln University men's basketball team won their fourth consecutive game and notched the win for the sixth time in seven games, holding off a huge rally by Livingstone College before pulling away for the 76-67 win Monday night at Manuel Rivero Hall.
Lincoln's 3-0 start in CIAA games is their best since they started the 2014-15 season 3-0.
Cameron Campbell (Fayetteville, N.C./Trinity Christian) was practically unstoppable on the night, connecting on 8-of-14 shots from the field, including 7-of-11 from three point ranges as he scored a game-high 25 points. Campbell also grabbed nine rebounds.
Deaquan Williams (Camden, N.J./Camden) notched his fifth double-double of the season with 12 points and ten boards while
Tamir Green (Philadelphia, Pa./Constitution) added 12 points and dished out seven assists.
Seeing Double
Williams and Blue have each recorded multiple double-doubles on the season. Williams notched his fifth double-double of the season in LU's last game with 12 points and 10 rebounds. In the Lions win over Johnson C. Smith, he scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Against Holy Family, he scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. He also had 15 points and 17 rebounds at Millersville and turned in a 26-point, 10-rebound effort against Seton Hill
Blue notched his third double-double of the season on November 27th against USciences with 12 points and 11 rebounds. He also had 16 points and 10 rebounds vs. Kutztown and a 14-point, 12-rebound effort at Shippensburg. Williams has the most double-doubles amongst all CIAA players.
Hitting the Century Mark
Lincoln scored 107 points against Central State on December 5. It was the Lions first 100-point game of their CIAA era.
The game marked the first time a Lions team has posted 100 or more points since scoring 106 on February 7, 2008 in an overtime loss to St. Paul's College.(108-106).
Rookie of the Week Honors
Freshman
Bernard Lightsey (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep Charter) was named the CIAA Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week for his performance during Lincoln's two games during the week ending November 25, a win over nationally ranked Kutztown and a loss to Seton Hill. Lightsey scored a career-high 25 points in the win over Kutztown and added 21 against Seton Hill to finish the week averaging 23.0 points per game.
A Division II program best:
Williams recorded a double-double in the Lions loss to Millersville with 15 points and 17 rebounds. His 17 rebounds are the most by a Lincoln player in the school's NCAA Division II era (2010- present). The most rebounds a single game throughout the history of the program was 31 set by George Turner in 1965 against Philadelphia College of Pharmacy (now known as USciences)
Scouting the Panthers
Claflin is currently 5-7 overall and 4-3 in league games following a 69-65 win over Bowie State on Monday. The Panthers have won three straight games
Claflin has three players averaging double figures through their first 12 games, led by Danny Brown's 13.4 points per game. Brown also leads the team in Field goal % hitting 46% of his shots.
Triston Thompson is averaging 13.2 points point game and leads the team with 50 assists. Cornellius Reynolds leads the team with a 7.1 rebounds per game average and has a team-high 21 steals. Austin Lawson has a team-high eight blocks on the season.
Jaimik Moore is averaging 11.9 points per game and leads the team in three-point FG% (42.9%) and free throw percentage (90.9%)

Cornellius Reynolds posted a double-double, 13 points-13 rebounds, as Claflin University won a hard-fought 69-65 decision over Bowie State University in a Central Intercollegiate Athletics Association (CIAA) contest on Monday (Dec. 17).
Jaimik Moore shared team-high in the offensive department along with Reynolds at 13 points followed by
Triston Thompson, who contributed 11 points.
Danny Brown added eight for the Panthers.
Reynolds and Thompson had three assists apiece for Claflin.
