Scouting the Bowie State Bulldogs
The CIAA's second leading scorer senior guard Cameron Knox averages 15.7 points per game. In 13 games this season Knox has scored in double figures and has posted 30+ points twice. He is followed by junior forward Andre Jackson with 11.5 points per game who also leads the Bulldogs in rebounding with 6.1 per game. Knox leads the Bulldogs in points per game, made 3-point field goals (40), free-throws (73-90), and steals (1.5). Bowie State is 11-5 overall and 5-1 in league play.
 
The Lincoln vs. Bowie State Series
Bowie State leads the overall series with the Lions 11-4 with the Bulldogs leading 6-1 at Bowie State. The Bulldogs are 4-2 at Lincoln and in two neutral site meetings, the teams split 1-1. John Hill's Lions are 4-6 vs. Bowie State since the 2010-11 season. In the Hill era, Lincoln is 1-3 in games played at Bowie State, 2-2 at home and 1-1 in neutral site games. Back in 2011, the Lions stunned the NCAA Division II No. 9 ranked and tournament defending champions Bowie State, 74-72, at Wisconsin Lutheran College in the Fresh Coast Classic Championship game. Senior Tony Efese (Spring Valley, NY/St. Joseph Regional HS) recorded a career-high 20 points in his first meeting against the Bulldogs last season on Jan. 18th.  Efese had a double-double grabbing 10 rebounds to go along with his career-high performance. The two teams split last year's meeting with each team picking up a victory at home.
 
Lincoln vs. CIAA
Lincoln is in its fifth season as a member of the CIAA Conference in 2014-15. The Lions own an overall of 32-41 against current league members. John Hill, has the coached the Lions since their transition and has an overall mark of 63-65 while coaching the Lions.

Senior center Alonzo Murphy (Pittsburgh, PA/California University (PA)) ranks 3rd in the conference in blocked shots (24), 7th in defensive rebounds (72) and 9th in both total rebounds (106) and rebounds per game (6.6). Sophomore forward Joshua Davis (Saginaw, MI/Louisburg Junior College) is 7th in the CIAA in field goal percentage (59%). Senior guard Kyle Aiken (Randolph, NJ/Randolph HS) ranks 4th in minutes (471) and 9th in assists (54). Senior forward Tony Efese (Spring Valley, NY/St. Joseph Regional HS) ranks 9th in defensive rebounds (66). As a team, Lincoln leads in both free-throws made per game (20.1) and attempted (30.1). The Lions are No.2 in blocks per game (4.9), No.3 in rebounds margin per game (5.7), and No.4 in points per game allowed (71.9) and also offensive rebounds per game (13.9).
