DOVER, Del. (April 18, 2011) — Kristina Rembert (Bronx, NY/Cathedral) and Laniqua Dinkins (Bronx, NY/Evander Childs) participated in the Delaware State Invitational on Saturday, providing two of Lincoln's top seniors the opportunity to showcase themselves in front of elite competition.
Rembert took home her third-straight 400-meter title, this time with a season-best time of 58.43 as she edged Keisha Thorpe of US Elite by .87 seconds. Meanwhile in the throws, Dinkins continued her assault up the ranks by placing sixth in the discus with a throw of 30.36 meters, and the distance established a new personal best.
Overall, the Lady Loins placed 8th of nine schools with 13 points. Morgan State took the team crown with Morgan State clipping Coppin State, 125-104.
