LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa.-The Lincoln University men's soccer team visited Queens College on Tuesday. The result was not what the Lions hoped for as they lost the match 10-0. Queens used a fast start, scoring 7 goals in the first half en route to the shutout victory.
The Knights were the aggressors, with 47 shots over the two periods compared to only eight for Lincoln. Junior goalkeeper Andre Wilkinson (St. Michael's, Barbabos/William Grady) (Barbados) continued his solid play, with 19 saves. Wilkinson now has 39 for the season.
The loss brings Lincoln's record to 0-3. The Lions will take to the road again on Tuesday as they pay a visit to Philadelphia in a match against Holy Family University at 4:00 p.m.
