LYNDHURST, N.J. (March 21, 2009) – Lincoln University of Pennsylvania sophomore Melvin Robinson (Bear, DE/William Penn) (Bear, DE/William Penn) blasted a first inning solo home run in the opening game of the Lions' 21-1 and 22-0 doubleheader defeats to Felician College Saturday afternoon at Breslin Field.  (GAME 1 BOXSCORE)  (GAME 2 BOXSCORE)

It was Robinson's third career home run.

Also for Lincoln in the opening game, Donald Alexander (Los Angeles, CA/Dorsey) went 2 for 3 for the Lions. Felician's Mike Libretta (Staten Island, NY/Moore Catholic) drove in three runs in each game.

Lincoln returns to action when it visits St. Joseph's College of Brooklyn Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in a doubleheader.
