Personal: A mass communications major, Matthews enjoys reading, writing, dancing, eating, sports and laughing. Her favorite television show is “Law and Order: SVU” and her favorite movie is “To Sir with Love.” Matthews’ favorite food is macaroni and cheese and oxtails. Matthews wants to be a sports reporter, journalist or a media correspondent. Her favorite cartoon character is Tigger. She lists her older brother Devon as her greatest sports figure. Matthews is the youngest of five siblings: Rosanne, 29, Devon, 27, Kirk, 23, Jannella, 21, and Raye Anne, 21.
