LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – Kyrie Tyson (Elkton, MD/Elkton HS) from the Lincoln University football team was named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Receiver of the Week for week three.

Tyson, a senior from Elkton, Maryland delivered a career performance for Lincoln University (Pa.) in the Lions' CIAA opener at Shaw, recording nine receptions for 145 yards and two touchdowns. Tyson opened the scoring with a 14-yard touchdown reception on Lincoln's first possession before adding an explosive 68-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter. He averaged 16.1 yards per reception and accounted for 62.2 percent of the Lions' 233 passing yards, establishing himself as the offense's leading playmaker against the Bears.

Tyson and the Lions will be back in action on Saturday, September 26 at 1:00 taking on Bluefield State.
