LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – The Lincoln University (Pa.) women's soccer team scored twice during the final 11 minutes to earn a 2-2 draw against Bluefield State University in its season opener Wednesday afternoon at Lincoln University Stadium.
The Lions (0-0-1) refused to go quietly.

Lincoln outshot Bluefield State 15-10 and held a 6-3 advantage in corner kicks. Both teams placed five shots on goal.
How it Happened
After a scoreless opening half, Bluefield State (1-0-1) broke the deadlock in the 62nd minute when Iyana Campbell scored off an assist from Lauren Mallinger. Campbell struck again in the 71st minute, converting a pass from Maria Herrera to extend the Big Blue's lead to 2-0.
Jordan Allison (Baltimore, MD) began the Lion's comeback in the 80th minute, scoring her first goal of the season to cut the deficit in half. Less than four minutes later,
Breanna Steen (Bethel, CT) off the assist from
Autumn Clark (Middletown, CA) equalized the game in the 83rd minute.
Allison led the Lions' attack with five shots, two shots on goal, one goal and one assist.
Sahida Dumbuya (Freetown, Sierra Leone) recorded a match-high seven shot attempts, while
Jenesis Kitchen (Baltimore, MD) added one shot on goal.
Nevaeh Washington (Philadelphia, PA) played all 90 minutes in goal for Lincoln and finished with three saves. Natasha Jaramillo also made three saves for Bluefield State.
