Lions Drop Road Doubleheader at Caldwell

CALDWELL, NJ – April 26, 2026 – The Lincoln University (PA) baseball team fell in both games of a CACC doubleheader at Caldwell on Sunday, dropping game one 11-0 and game two 7-6.

Game 1 – Lincoln (PA) 0, Caldwell 11

Lincoln was held hitless in the opener, falling 11-0.

The Lions were unable to find rhythm offensively, while Caldwell capitalized early to build separation. Despite a clean effort defensively, Lincoln could not generate opportunities at the plate.

Game 2 – Lincoln (PA) 6, Caldwell 7

Lincoln responded with a strong offensive performance in game two but came up just short in a 7-6 loss.

The Lions totaled 16 hits, with Jaden Greenidge (Richmond, Va./Monacan) leading the way with a 4-for-4 performance. Keith Gardner (Franklinton, NC/South Granville HS) added three hits, while Isaiah Tinsley-Cobbs recorded a triple and two RBIs. Quentin Smith (Pg County, MD) also contributed two hits and two RBIs.

Lincoln scored in multiple innings, including back-to-back two-run frames, to stay within reach throughout, but was unable to complete the comeback late.
